We will feature some our favourite portraits each month and occasionally some behind-the-scenes stories. Occasionally we will include some descriptions of the equipment and techniques used to capture the images. This is for our clients who have an interest in photography and for the many portrait photographers Northern Ireland who follow us. We will also include advice for individuals, couples and families planning their portrait session.

Frequently Asked Questions

How do I choose the best portrait photographer in Northern Ireland?
The best way to get the right portrait photographer is to look at their work. Check out the Social Media pages to make sure what they are showing is what you want.

Where do you shoot your portraits?
You have several options. We have a beautiful studio at our premises in Lurgan town centre. If you prefer an outdoor setting we have we have Ireland’s second biggest town park and a stunning nature reserve on our doorstep. Alternatively, we can come to you or a location of your choice.

What should we wear for our family photo?
For family or group portraits we generally advise keeping everyone dressed in the same tones. We find that dark tones and long sleeved shirts/blouses work well and don’t date.

What about for the kids?
For children who are into any activities, feel free to bring props and their costumes or kits. Favourite toys are also good and we also have a speaker (in the studio) so you can play their favourite music through a smartphone to help them relax.

And for the baby?
For babies and young toddlers anything goes! Be creative & individual but remember the golden rule – nothing matters more than your child’s expression.
